The Market Season 

 
The season generally begins toward the end of June and continues through October.  Naturally, there are no guarantees in farming, but here are some of the items you can expect to find at the Market each month.  The Quincy Farmers' Market opens the first Friday in July.
 
June
Strawberries, summer squash, zucchini, lettuce, greenhouse tomatoes, herbs
 
July
Blueberries, summer squash, zucchini, lettuce, field tomatoes, corn, beans, cucumbers, carrots, beets, cabbage, herbs
 
August
Everything from July
plus
Eggplant, pappers, melons, broccoli, cauliflower, kohlrabi, apples
 
September
Everything from August
(except blueberries)
plus
Red peppers, onions, potatoes, winter squash
 
October
Winter squash, apples, peppers, lettuce, carrots, beets, corn, cabbage, borccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, onions, potatoes, eggplant, watermelon, pumpkins, greens
